Vitamin B12 Chemistry

Research in our group is focused on the development of semi-artificial systems based on biologically relevant transition metal complexes. Especially, we develop novel modified vitamin B₁₂ derivatives for applications in medicinal chemistry, catalysis and diagnosis.
Usually, the projects combine classical organic synthesis and inorganic coordination chemistry, accompanied by thorough analytical investigations.
