It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Graduate School of Chemical and Molecular Sciences Zurich (CMSZH). Our highly competitive Ph.D. program encompasses a broad range of scientific topics covered in various research groups ranging from the classical fields of Chemistry to Biological and Medicinal Chemistry, and all the way to Molecular and structural Biology. Our aim is not only to cover a broad spectrum of chemistry and related disciplines, but also to deliberately cross the disciplinary boundaries and melt them together.

To be eligible for the Ph.D. programs of the Graduate School of Chemical and Molecular Sciences Zurich (CMSZH), applicants must hold a Master's degree or equivalent in the field of Natural Sciences. Applicants admitted to the programs will have to register with the University of Zurich. 

Important:

Applications have to be submitted directly to the supervisor (PI) and upon his/her request, the further application procedure will then be handled by the CMSZH.
Applications sent directly to the CMSZH will not be considered.

Invited applicants are refunded their travel and accommodation expenses.
