Research in our group is focused on the development of semi-artificial systems based on biologically relevant transition metal complexes. Especially, we develop novel modified cofactor derivatives for applications in medicinal chemistry, catalysis and diagnosis.
Usually, the projects combine classical organic synthesis and inorganic coordination chemistry, accompanied by thorough analytical investigations and biological studies.
